대 랄리지역 한인회, 지역사회와의 협력 기반을 넓히다
지난 9월 18일, 대 랄리지역 한인회장과 임원진은 Chris Stock 님을 만나 한인회를 소개하고 지역 한인사회와의 협력 가능성에 대해 의미 있는 대화를 나누었습니다.
Chris Stock 님은 오는 11월 열리는 North Carolina Senate District 18 선거에 공화당 후보로 출마한 30대의 젊은 정치인으로, 지역사회와의 소통을 활발히 이어가고 있는 인물입니다.
이번 만남은 특정 정당이나 후보를 지지하기 위한 목적이 아니라, 미국 주류사회와 한인사회 사이의 연결고리를 만들고 소통의 폭을 넓히기 위한 교류의 자리였습니다. 한인회는 지역사회 인사들과의 만남을 통해 한인 커뮤니티의 목소리를 알리고, 앞으로 더 많은 협력의 기회를 만들기 위해 꾸준히 노력하고 있습니다.
대 랄리지역 한인회는 내부 교류에 머무르지 않고, 지역 정치인과 기관, 커뮤니티 리더들과의 네트워크를 확장하며 한인사회가 지역사회 안에서 더 큰 영향력을 갖고 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 합니다. 앞으로도 다양한 교류와 협력을 통해 한인 커뮤니티의 존재감을 높이고, 더 넓은 무대에서 함께 발전해 나갈 수 있도록 지속적으로 힘쓰겠습니다.
On September 18, the President and board members of the Greater Raleigh Korean Association met with Chris Stock to introduce the organization and discuss opportunities for collaboration with the local Korean community. Chris Stock is a young political figure in his 30s and the Republican candidate running for the North Carolina Senate District 18 race in November.
